Refund Policy
Not happy with your purchase?
Products purchased from The Hi-Fi Trader (in store or online) come with a 30 Day Return Policy. If the product you ordered is not quite what you had in mind, you can return the item for an exchange or a refund on the purchase price (excluding shipping) within 30 days from the date of purchase.
Should the product not be in original condition, please email us before returning it as this may save you some unnecessary shipping costs. There is a 25% service and repacking charge for any items which are returned with damaged external packaging, so please take care when packaging any returns. Proof of purchase will be required for all returns.
We recommend that you return your unwanted items using registered post or trackable courier. We can not be held responsible if returned items are lost in transit.
Please contact us in-store, over the phone or via email before sending anything by post.
When You Receive Your Order
We try our best to ensure that all products are shipped free from defects. In the case that you do receive a faulty product upon delivery, do not panic, simply contact us and we will organise to have the item replaced for you at our expense.
Warranty Concerns
All warranty issues are dealt with by the manufacturer or distributor of the product. If a problem occurs with your purchased item within the period covered by the manufacturer's warranty, please contact the manufacturer/distributor for a direct resolution of your warranty claim. You may contact us for assistance however please do not return the item to The Hi-Fi Trader for resolution without prior consultation.
Shipping Information
Turnaround
All orders are shipped within 48 hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
Before shipping any products, our team will give you a call and inform you of the shipping costs.
Since our products vary heavily in size and weight, there's no flat shipping fee.
Order Tracking
A tracking # will be provided by and we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders may not ship with a tracking number.
Shipping Rates
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight and size of the item and since they vary significantly from product to product, one of our team members will give you a call and inform you of the shipping costs. These costs are then payable before we ship the goods out.
