The Pro-Ject RPM 1 Genie manual turntable is fitted with Ortofon an OM 3E cartridge. The tonearm bearing comprises inverted hardened stainless tips in ballraces. The headshell and S-shaped armtube are fashioned from a single piece of aluminium. The armtube allows adjustment of needle azimuth despite the fixed headshell. The vertical tracing angle is adjustable. The RPM1 features an MDF platter with perimeter belt drive and felt mat, inverted main bearing with brass bearing housing and the drive motor is completely decoupled from the plinth.
