Designed on the A-S2000
The new range of Yamaha integrated amplifiers are designed as descendants of the famous A-S2000. An aluminium front panel, silky touch volume/selector knobs and Yamaha's strong commitment to quality craftsmanship are just some of the benefits from this range.
Balanced Signal Path
All Yamaha Hi-Fi components are made from the highest quality materials. However, sometimes when connecting devices such as an iPod they can be their own worst enemy in creating interference along the audio path. To rectify this, Yamaha use a balanced signal path to reduce noise in the system and give you an improved audio quality.
A and B Speakers
Yamaha's integrated amplifiers all have speaker A & B option which allows music sources to be played in two difference areas of the house, adding versatility to these accomplished amplifiers. Each Amplifier is also equipped with High Grade Silver Speaker Terminals to help ensure the audio signal is transferred to the speaker without interference.
iPod Dock ready with independent power supply
With Yamaha's optional iPod dock you can easily enjoy your mobile music collection through the best system in the house and you can even charge your iPod while you listen. When your iPod is operating or charging it is more susceptible to interfere with audio quality during playback. To minimise this, Yamaha have included a dedicated power supply just for the iPod. This will ensure premium audio from an iPod or iPhone.
When Music Matters
A dedicated amplifier will always offer premium performance with music sources than an equivalent AV Receiver. And Yamaha's amplifier range has something for everyone. So when music matters, look no further than a Yamaha integrated amplifier.
TECHNOLOGY:
ToP-ART
When processing and transmission of the audio signal is simple and direct there is less chance of it being affected by noise and distortion. Yamaha's amplifier design technology called ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology) features I/O (input to output) Direct Symmetrical Design, with left and right channels organised in a straight, symmetrical layout for highest signal purity.
Auto PowerOff
Auto Power Off (Power Management) automatically turns off the power after a certain amount of time to save energy.
CD Direct Amplification Circuit
Engaged by a front panel switch, it matches CD signal levels so each stage produces less noise, resulting in improved S/N ratio and maintenance of the amp's total gain balance.
