The central conductor is made from 80 strands of OCC copper of 99.9997% purity and which is insulated by an extremely low-loss foamed polyethylene dielectric. The return conductor is a two-layer braid made from a total of 272 strands of Ultra-Pure Oxygen Free Copper.

Atlas Quadstar Interconnect 1m
The Atlas Quadstar breaks with tradition in order to provide a four OFC conductor topology that offers a low inductance cable. Wired to RCA plugs, two conductors are used in parallel for the going signal and another two for the return. The screen which consists of an OFC braid and an aluminium mylar tape provides 100% coverage for the rejection of harmful RFI.
